This web page displays some of the current issues we are working on here in the Medical Physics Program at Hampton University.
We are pleased that our recent work has been accepted for presentation at this year's (2015) meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM, see http://www.aapm.org/meetings/2015AM/).
We are working on getting our graduate program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP see http://www.campep.org/).
Here is a copy of the self study template that needs to be submitted as a first step in CAMPEP accreditation:

Hampton University Cancer Research Center
As one of only a few cancer centers located at a Historically Black University, the Hampton University Cancer Research Center is dedicated to the creation of knowledge in laboratory, clinical and community-based cancer research. We apply those discoveries to develop more effective approaches to cancer prevention, diagnosis and therapies – providing tomorrow's standard of care today.
