Dr. George Burbanck
Chairman and Associate Professor
Dr. Burbanck is a graduate of Earlham College where he received an AB in geology, Emory University awarded him a MS in geology and he received the PhD from the College of Marine Studies, University of Delaware, in Marine Studies. He has been the chair of the Marine and Environmental Science Department since 1986 and serves as academic advisor for MASC majors. His research interests include estuarine ecology, biometry, coastal processes, habitat selection by estuarine nekton and water quality.
