Financial Assistance is available to the qualified students through grants from federal agencies. This financial support pays up to $9,000 per academic year and covers part or all of the students tuition and fees. Additional support for the summer is usually avaliable.
Scholarships are awarded to qualified students through the University Scholarship Program. These include:
- Presidential Scholars
- Academic Achievers
- Student Enhancement in Mathematics and Science
Students may also apply for scholarships or undergraduate research funding through grants and contracts from:
- Department of Energy
- National Science Foundation
- U.S. Air Force
- U.S. Army
- U.S. Navy
Qualified sophomore and junior students may also apply for summer internship programs at government research laboratories, industrial and academic institutions.
