Elaine Dietz completed her BA at Michigan State University and earned her MEd from Virginia State University. She has been a full time instructor for the Computer Literacy classes for Hampton University since 2008. Prior to her full time appointment, she taught adjunct for Hampton University for 2 years.  In addition to teaching for Hampton University, her experience includes teaching for Saint Leo University, Langley Air Force Base, VA, Thomas Nelson Community College, Hampton, VA, Virginia Union University, Richmond, VA, Harford Community College, Belair, MD, Cecil Community College, Elkton, MD and University of Maryland University College, Adelphi, MD. She has been teaching computer studies classes online as an adjunct assistant professor for University of Maryland University College Stateside Division since August 2000. She taught computer classes face-to-face for the UMUC Asian Division in Seoul, South Korea for three years, and also taught face-to-face for the UMUC European Division in Heidelberg, Germany for three years.
