Dr. Lerone Banks
Assistant Professor
Dr. Lerone Banks earned his PHD in computer science with an emphasis on computer security from The University of California, Davis. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science as a participant in the Dozoretz National Institute for Minorities in Applied Sciences (DNIMAS) at Norfolk State University (Norfolk, VA). He has held several academic and professional positions at various locations including: The California Institute of Technology, IBM, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and The Fannie Mae Corporation. Also, he has served as a teaching assistant, instructor, and teaching consultant for both computer science and non-computer science courses.
